What is a Web Browser?
- A Web Browser is a software program, such as Netscape Navigator
or Internet Explorer, which interprets HTML codes, "the
internets language", and presents the information to you
as you see it here on this page. Click here for an example (this
is the HTML codes for this page). The Web Browser allows the user
to navigate the Internet easily by providing a graphical user
interface so the user can click menus, icons, or buttons rather
than learning difficult computer commands.
