What is a Web Browser?

A Web Browser is a software program, such as Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, which interprets HTML codes, "the internets language", and presents the information to you as you see it here on this page. Click here for an example (this is the HTML codes for this page).The Web Browser allows the user to navigate the Internet easily by providing a graphical user interface so the user can click menus, icons, or buttons rather than learning difficult computer commands.
